Terms and Conditions for Burda Style on SewShare.com
By making a purchase, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions and the Supplemental Privacy Policy for the SewShare Marketplace. If you do not agree, you may not complete a purchase.
Order Acceptance and Cancellation
All orders are subject to acceptance by Burda Style, “Store.” We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, whether or not it has been confirmed, and without liability to you or any other party. If your order is canceled, you will receive a refund for the amount paid.
License for Patterns
Patterns purchased from this Store are licensed for personal use only. They may not be redistributed, shared, sold, or used for commercial purposes without express written permission.
Payments
We use secure third-party payment processors, including PayPal Payments, to handle all transactions. This store does not access or store your credit card details.
Taxes, Duties, and Fees (Non-US Addresses)
If your shipping address is outside the United States, your package may incur additional charges such as import taxes, customs duties, or handling fees levied by your country. You are solely responsible for paying these charges to ensure the release of your package. The amount varies based on your country’s regulations, the item’s price, and shipping details.
Refunds and Returns

Digital Products: Due to the nature of digital files, all sales are final. If you experience any issues accessing your files, please contact us.

Fabric: Fabric is custom cut to order, therefore it is non-refundable.

Physical Products: We accept returns within [30] days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition.

Access Your Files: You will receive a download link via email and you can also download from the Downloads section in your SewShare account.
Physical Products (Printed Patterns, Fabrics, Tools, Notions, etc.) (if offered)
Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and shipped within [2] business days.
Shipping Methods & Costs: We offer standard and expedited shipping. Rates are calculated at checkout.
Tracking Information: Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number (if applicable).
International Shipping (If Offered)

Customers are responsible for any customs fees, import taxes, or duties.
Combined Orders (Digital & Physical Products)
If you order both digital and physical products, digital items will be available immediately, while physical products will ship separately according to our Shipping Terms.

We do our best to meet shipping timelines, but delays may occur due to carrier issues or high order volumes. If your package is delayed or missing, please reach out to us, and we will assist you in resolving the issue.

If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, the parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation in Texas, with a mutually agreed-upon mediator. The costs of mediation will be shared equally by both parties. If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, the matter shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the State of Texas. Each party consents to the jurisdiction of these courts for such purposes.
