I got this to alter a vintage silk gown, and it worked great. It’s quite heavy and feels fancy and expensive. A little delicate like all satins, but it ironed nicely.
I was so pleased with this fabric. Most ITY is a bit slippery with a bit of shine, which is fine. But this is matte and almost feels brushed. It is really comfy and easy to work with. I would love to see (and purchase) more of this type of fabric!
This is really nice fabric & a pleasure to work with! As with linen & cotton fabrics, it tends to fray after trimming. I don't find this needs to be lined. It's a nice, medium weight.
I used this lovely fabric for an off the shoulder torso hugging top. Great summer look especially for someone who doesn’t do well with excessive air conditioning.
After laundering and ironing this fabric I saw that it has some runs. There are enough that it seems to be a feature rather than a fault. For this reason I do not recommend it for formal applications. It is as light and soft as described above and will make lovely summer garments.
This fabric is a Soft Knit and makes the perfect pair of PJs for the summer. I have laundred several times and holds up well, still has a fibrant color.
The fabric looked/felt very nice and was easy to work with on my sewing machine. I made this fabric into part of a cape for the elf queen Teiris Palemoon from the SEGA Saturn video game "Dragon Force". For that purpose, it worked perfectly.
I bought these scissors for both quilting & garment making. Very sharp and excellent quality. I recently discovered Mood Fabrics in April and have already placed 5 orders. Terrific quality fabrics.
