This is a beautiful fabric. The stretch is just enough to make fitting a difficult figure quite a bit easier. It's nice and hefty so using two layers of it (e.g. one for underlining and one for lining) would probably be too heavy except for colder weather. That'd definitely be too much for Central Texas.
I bought this fabric to make a long, sexy, flowy, slit-up-to-there skirt for my daughter's wedding in Mexico. It has a very nice weight/drape and the colors are stunning!
