I wanted charcoal, and had a. Dry heavy, almost felted outer coating. This fabric was a dream to sew. Didn't slip around as much as some linings. And, the mottled, hand-dyed effect is stunning
I only ordered a swatch - I always receive swatches in a timely manner and they are reasonably priced. I have ordered complete projects by getting the swatches first.
I was wanting legging fabric so this isn't it because of translucency, but it is a very nice matte black. It would work for a lined bathing suit and seems like a quick dry type fabric.
