It felt criminal to cut into this fabric it's so gorgeous! Sheer, lightweight, and smooth, it wasn't exactly what I needed for my project but I felt thankful I had ordered it anyway. It's transparent enough that you can see your hand's outline through it, moves well on the bias, and is slightly shimmery.
This is exactly what I expected of a polyester tafetta - the signature stiffness/body and swish. It made up beautifully for a dress I needed to wear to a family wedding.
This fabric is absolutely beautiful. It has such a gorgeous shimmer and is the most delightful shade. I got so many compliments on it, and people couldn't believe it was polyester taffeta! Can't wait to buy more in other colors and use it again.
I bought this fabric to make a pair of linen pants that could be either dressed up or dressed down. The fabric was easy to sew and easy to wear. There is a bit of stretch in the fabric, but not so much that the pants "grow" too much when you wear them. Made the side seams a bit smaller than usual and with the bit of stretch they are perfect. Bought the same fabric in navy for more pants.
