This fabric is easy to sew, and has a very nice feel to it. I love it! I have completed the top, and working on the pants, which I've decided to line. I would love to get more of this fabric in a different design/color!
Gorgeous fabric and very easy to sew with. Nice structure for the 1960s vintage dress pattern I found. I watched The Man From U.N.C.L.E and am hooked on 60s clothing. I added a full lining on the inside. The dress has hidden pockets in the front and a 9 inch zipper in the back. The pattern was way too big so I took it in on the back and the sides without taking away from the boxy fit.
I am making a robe with this fabric, absolutely love it, it is easy to sew and it's so nice, I can't wait to wear it. I want to buy it in more colors :)
At this point I have my muslin finished and am SO excited to cut my new top out of this soft, flowy, beautiful fabric. The colors, weight, and texture are wonderful, just as described on the website.
This fabric looks great but the hand is almost papery. Also an appropriate sewing machine needle made obvious tracks in the material making ripping out an issue. It is difficult to press and crawls under the machine foot.
This fabric was a pleasure to work with - it had a nice hand, did not wrinkle too much and held it's color. It was more of a deep navy / grey rather than black as it presented on the computer monitor. Makes for a great mask as well.
Absolutely gorgeous quality double-gauze. Sews up perfectly and launders beautifully. Nice quality that doesn't get pills. I love the white but when inspiration strikes, I may do some natural dying on it. Thankfully I planned ahead and used 100% cotton thread : )
