This material is so soft and lightweight. The beautiful color soft reddish-pink paired with the yellow design and white print is exceptional when seen in person.
I purchased this wool because my sewing group was put to the task of creating a wrap coat. When the challenge was put before me, though I have several yards of coating, I wanted this coat to be something special. I chose the Italian fuchsia and have not regretted it .The wool was very malleable and was very easy to hand tailor. During the sewing process, it accepted steam and maintained it shape, though, I do suggest that you use a press cloth and strips under the seams so that you do not have your seams to show through, but that would be true for any natural fiber. Last week, I decided to wear my coat. It felt wonderful. It fit perfectly, the color is attention-getting and I have taken great care in not only telling people that I made my coat, but where I purchased my fabric. This wool has the drape ability, hand, and shaping style of more expensive wools. I plan on purchasing more in the future.
This is very similar to the double gauze burp cloths and swaddles you find from anais and anais, cosy, soft, all cotton, and has a pleasant stretch on the weft. I hope it will pebble up a bit in the wash too. There's pilling on the wrong side, but I'm guessing it won't be noticeable after it's washed. It's a pretty tropical punchy pink but not overly bright.
This print has a unique collection of colors that's bold and rich without being overwhelming. The fabric is light and a little translucent, but I feel comfortable wearing it without a lining or another layer.
I just made Gertie's picnic skirt with this for spring. I bought it last spring. It faded a bit with first washing, but that wouldn't have been a deal breaker (this happens). The deal breaker was the raveling. Wow, I pulled a thread to find the grain and I should have known it was going to be trouble when that was quite a chore. Then I cut two rectangles. I immediately had to zig zag all the way around to prevent the raveling, which started immediately. Do NOT put this on the serger to finish the seams, it chewed it up. Thankfully, I had tested it on a scrap first! Anyway, the skirt came out okay. It will be fine for around the house or light use, but I won't be buying anything like this again. It was a pain. Next time I'll just save my money for Liberty, you get what you pay for.

Purchased a swatch to feel the fabric. Really love it. So many uses for it; especially durable cushions.

I really like the color and feel of this material. The selvage print is rather wide, about 2 inches that took away from print.

This material is soft, has a little stretch to it. I love the print with a sutle flecks of gold in the blue.

I love this material and am in the process of making a lined jean jacket with it. Lovely!

This is a great quality silk in and the fact that it's available in a wider width is, as the title says, wonderful!

The button looks great on the dark green sweater. It easily goes through the knitted buttonhole yet holds the sweater closed well.

This fabric is super soft, feels very cosi, and was easy enough to work with. You need a good sewing machine though.
