It's soft, breathable, and has a nice sheen. You could really use this for anything from intimates to high quality button-ups to sportswear to bedsheets Don't hesitate to buy this in favor of cheaper Egyptian cotton or pima cotton, after feeling this you'll question the quality of any other cotton fabric you've bought. It's a no-brainer, buy it. Just know that this has a hand closer to silk than traditional cotton so if you want something like flannel, a traditional t-shirt, or a hoodie, regular, organic cotton is the way to go.
I bought this to create covers for some art books. I sewed them together with an upholstery needle. It was really easy to sew and trim them. They look great.
The color is perfect red. This fabric is soft and billowy. It is thicker than regular gauze because it's two layers. I made an identical summer dress in the white. I didn't feel a lining was needed. The thickness of the fabric can add bulk to seams of more than two layers. I chose to reduce the amount of gathering between tiers to accommodate for thickness. Personally, I think that patterns with simple details would work best with this fabric. The fabric washes and sews well. I want to make a boyfriend shirt in taupe next.
The print is beautiful and vivid, and the fabric itself is crisp but soft. It is quite thin but mostly opaque, has a pleasant drape to it. It's pretty easy to work with too, and doesn't really come unraveled unless you actively pick at the cut threads. No complaints or regrets at all with this purchase!
Very effective lining and easy to work with, although it does show pin marks very easily. Irons very nicely, and made a wonderfully opaque second layer for my skirt. It does wrinkle somewhat easily, but I was pleased with the drape and overall effect nonetheless. I would not recommend for more casual wear because of the necessary upkeep, but for formal wear it was a neat and avoidable option.
This made such a beautiful 50s style circle skirt. Had a nice body and drape, and I loved the larger size of the gingham. Very pleased with this purchase!

Easy to use and very functional invisible zipper. Clearly high quality, and sewed on by hand very well.
