I purchased this fabric in the Black color way as well as a swatch in Charcoal. Both were absolutely delicious, luxurious and soft. However when I ordered yardage of the Charcoal a few months later what I received was scratchier and generally seems lower quality.
One of the main reasons I sew my own clothes is that I have extremely sensitive skin due to a medical condition so textile quality is very important. I would not have purchased this in the Charcoal if I had been in the store and seen it first hand.
Mood is my go to resource for hard to find, reasonably priced, quality textiles and they're usually perfect. Just sad I couldn't buy the gorgeous fabric I got as a sample!
This is probably my favorite fabric from Mood. Absolutely incredible hand, soft, luxurious and utterly gorgeous. Nice, deep black and perfect weight for shirts and pajamas. Really lux option for linings although it's on the heavy side for that application. I'm using it to line a trench/raincoat and it's perfect; just slippery enough and structured but not too bulky.
This fabric is almost surreal it's so smooth. It's hard to believe it's not a synthetic or silk, it's that sleek and flawless. I haven't washed it yet but it's absolutely unique as far as cotton knits go. It's incredibly soft and silky feeling; exactly the luxury experience I was looking for. I can't wait to stitch it up and start wearing it!
The only downside is the color. If it came in black I would probably make all my underwear out of this. It's the best match I've found for Hanro of Switzerland's cotton fabrics.
I am a quilter for 40+ years. always looking for interesting fabric that's different than the cottons offered in 'the quilt market' I am bored. THEN I came across Mood Fabrics ! the fabrics I've found at Mood are exciting, unique, wonderfully different and top quality. Really hesitate sharing my secret! totally in love.
This is beautiful fabric, fine and tightly woven, with a nice hand, and made up easily. The project is not quite finished, as I am waiting on delivery of the final length of vintage embroidered lace to finish off the bottom hem.
I got this on sale and it was a good velvet for the price. The pile isn't as soft as product #316408 (also a stretch velvet), but both sides are still very nice to touch so I don't regret going for the cheaper of the two. I made a circle skirt without an elastic or zipper, using the fabric itself for the waistband thanks to the stretchiness. I got the black color and it's opaque enough that a lining wasn't necessary.
i could not use it as a motorcycle seat cover ,it was too stiff to work with , way too shiny for a motorcycle cover ,sorry it just looked too cheap for my level if bike building so in the trash it went
This Prince of Wales cashmere fabric is soft, light, easy to work with, and drafts well. I used it to make a trench coat using the McCall's M5525 pattern (E). It is perfect to wear during summer and spring. The color and pattern is stunning. I will highly recommend this Oscar de la Renta Coating!
This is the first time i've ordered this type of fabric, but i'm super excited to use it and i think it will perform super well for a bra or underwear. great supportive stretch!
This fabric seems like it will work well for my intended project, it is just slightly stretching in one direction but not much in the other. It is heavier weight, so i think it would work for a light jacket or pants, maybe a heavy button down shirt.
This is a beautiful fabric, just what I was searching for except that it is significantly lighter weight that I was anticipating. I purchased it to make a simple skirt and tee for my 11-yr-old granddaughter, but I am having second thoughts because of the weight. It will be great for tees, but not so much for pants or skirts.
I've been watching this fabric for about 2 yrs. I like the way it feels. It feels like a good quality fabric. You can't go wrong with a classic but elegant print. I love that it has stretch included.

Light weight, not very puckery of a seersucker. I washed and machine dried it, but still rather flat.

This wool is perfect for a winter coat. It was really easy to work with. Definitely worth the price.

Item just as described and quickly shipped. This is a lighter weight, natural looking muslin.

unfortunately this osnaburg was extremely stiff and has some kind of coating on it and upon washing fell apart rather badly and became unusable.

Be careful, this fabric needs to be stay stitched on all pattern pieces. It wants to stretch.

This fabric was exactly what I was looking for! I found the color to be true to what the images showed, and it washed and crinkled up beautifully!
