One caveat, however: be VERY careful with the tensile strength near cut edges; it will make holes if you're not cautious with basting / don't reinforce your weight bearing seams.
It's probably not the best choice for a supportive tunic, but I'm making it work with some alterations to the pattern.
Finding material that is designed to compress those extra spots on your body is not easy to find. Yes, they have many out there that compresses the skin, but make you sweat. Breathable material like this is perfect, and almost looks nude on you.
This was beautiful fabric - all I had hoped for - and which I couldn't get locally (small town). My project is not complete yet as I am making an heirloom blouse and there is lots of fun busy-work involved in each of 10 panels. I am adding a photo of the panels I have done. Each is folded so I can get them all in. I am using rayon embroidery thread with for the decorative stitching.
This fabric is listed as hemp but feels a lot like rayon. It sews beautifully and drapes well. However, hemp fiber is similar to linen. Is it rayon made with hemp vs cotton, bamboo etc? That's the only rational explanation, I can come up with, for the drape of this fabric.
Absolutely beautiful medium-light weight linen. Great for summer tops. I think this color would be Tiny bit transparent, so I would not make pants with it unless lined. Great for Summer beach apparel.
Gorgeous weight and soft hand on this gauze. Lighter and brighter than pictured, more of a candy-apple red than the pictured cherry, but otherwise true to the description as a true red.
I received this fabric and absolutely loved how bright the colors were. I haven't had a chance to put the swimsuit through a beach or pool day yet to see how it'll hold up in the elements, but hoping it does well. The stretch recovery is great and the fabric was overall super nice to sew. The only issue I had was that the site did not specify the stretch percentage. The pattern I used called for 50% and I'd say this fabric is more like 40%, but it ended working fine. If this fabric works well with multiple uses, I will definitely be coming back for more Swimwear fabric because their selection of prints is amazing!!!

It's has a very nice drape, smooth surface, nice cool touch for summer and in general very pleasant fabric to work with, not to mention how gorgeous it is.

Easy to cut to length and encase, this boning serves its intended purpose well. Would buy again.
