The color is a darker mauve, bluish pink. Definitely not a bright peach pink shown in the photo. At least not the piece they sent me. Maybe they sent the wrong velvet by mistake, not sure. Nice fabric though if you want mauve.

Later, when I needed more, I was able to look online. One never knows what one will get but THIS lining material was thick and luxurious. It was a pleasure to work with. Furthermore, the order got to me so fast! I practically had it before I even got confirmation of my order. I emailed the company and they responded with in 24 hours. I am super impressed and will never have to struggle again in my rural area to get great service and lovely material (heart emoji, party confetti emoji)

I bought this to make a button down shirt for my son - it is thick and good for winter. It washes and presses nicely. I would definitely get more in a different color for myself!

A woman I follow on Instagram used this fabric for a really cute summer dress and I knew I had to have it too. I am using it to make a thick asymmetrical skirt with a satin waist and satin hem. I thought it would be a bit thicker, so it's probably good if you plan to use a liner fabric with it.
