The order was shipped to the wrong address. I didn't get it in time for my project. So now I have a bunch of fabric that I was never able to use on time.
Good basic cotton for lining a summer weight pant. It washed and dried well and is ready to sew. Material is soft and the good quality one expects from Pima cotton.
I got this fabric a while back when it first came out. I like matelasse fabrics and this one had textural interest and an interesting color combo, neon coral and soft pink. The fabric had sufficient body to be easily sewed into an unstructured dolman-sleeve cropped jacket. I wore the jacket over a simple neon coral sleeveless dress in cotton denim. -- fabric also from Mood. It is one of my favorite summer outfits.
I am getting ready to reupholster a family couch and I ordered a swatch of the Brown-Blue Lagoon to confirm a color combination. I was shocked at what I received. It looks absolutely nothing like the website (which I've viewed on 2 phones and 4 different computers). The website image is about 95% lagoon blues with 5% steely brown. I loved it. The swatch is 98% chocolate browns/tan and 2% lagoon blues. I seriously thought I'd received the wrong swatch but none of the other colors on the website match what I received and the name "Brown-Blue Lagoon" makes sense with what I received. It looks nice, but it is not at all what I am looking for. Oh well, the search continues.
Texture-wise the swatch feels very soft and smooth, like it would be comfortable to sit on. There is no warp or weft give. The chocolate brown and tan hues are nice and rich. The blue hue is very pretty, but very only minimally present.
This is a fine quality fabric; very smooth. It is definitely interlock. I took a magnifier to it to be sure. I was hoping for jersey, but to be fair the description did not specify. The description does say "medium weight," and that's about right. Do wish there was an oz/sq yd or gsm measurement, though. Too heavy for undies, to my liking, but will do perfectly well for tops and t-shirt dresses. The description also says "translucent" but if I hold it up to myself in good light I can barely tell the difference between my black bra and my pasty flesh. So, five stars for the fabric, three stars for the description and we'll call it four for the final score.

This is a good fabric for theater use in that it has texture that will be distinctive under the lighting. It will also make the item washable.

Perfect muslin for making garment mock-ups.

High quality organza - perfect for use as interfacing. Also makes a great pressing cloth to protect fabric while ironing.

Using these as decorations for the cockades I'm making for Regency bonnets.

I found it very hard to sew. Even 70 needles would pull fabric threads as you sew it.
