I love this fabric and use it, and others, to make scarves for the homeless. The scarves are 12" x 72" and I use mostly wool or wool blends so they are warm. If I buy two yards of fabric, I can make four scarves. I put a label on each scarf that says "In Memory of Andy" who is my son who died a few years ago.
This was my first time ordering fabric online. Although the post office was super slow with the swatches they redeemed themselves with the fabric delivery. I was very impressed with the customer service as my original fabric was not available. Kristina immediately responded to my email and worked with me to ensure I could get a replacement fabric. I had several swatches so I was prepared, but getting 6.5 yards stressed me a bit. I used the Port Silk Crepe de Chine to make the dress for a wedding my daughter will be in late October. The fabric is beautiful, the color was rich and felt like fall, and although a bit slippery to work with responded well to handling.
I really enjoyed working with this fabric. The print is just exactly like on the website. The fabric is a little translucent but that was expected. Now I have a beautiful wrap skirt. Can't' wait to wear it.
The color is darker than pictured, almost black..fine. This looks and feels like scuba. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. I can't make pants, because they'll be falling off of me after an hour of wear.
I Love Love Love Mood Fabrics! Today I'm wearing a blouse and leggings both made from Mood Fabrics. My last purchase was for legging fabric and it is fabulous! Easy to work with wonderful to wear!
