My order arrived incredibly quickly. (I'm in SE Texas.) The floral print is beautiful, the weight of the twill is perfect and I plan to make a dress of it.
I did not, however, expect it to stretch so easily/broadly. The description online said 98% cotton and 2% stretchy fiber. I'd have preferred 100% cotton in light of the humid climate here. I figured 2% would not stretch much. I was wrong. The 2% of stretchy fiber has resulted in a VERY STRETCHY fabric. I'm hoping it will not be uncomfortable to wear in high humidity.
I recently found the new PROJECT RUNWAY series again and the scenes at Mood continue to amaze me. I visited the NYC store about 10 years ago. It is seamstress heaven!
I saw this glass button and fell in love. I'm a "blue" person. 90% of my clothing is some hue of blue.
I have no need for this button. I've never spent so much for one button, I bought it on pure whim. I plan to just look at it like a piece of art. It is stunning!
This is heavier than I figured- I did not order a swatch first- but very beautiful! It's very stretchy and dense and required cutting netting out at seams to eliminate bulk. It turned out very pretty and I recommend doing seams on a large scrap first to see what works for you and the pattern you choose.
Fabric arrived with a flaw in the print, customer service was great tho, sent me a replacement yard quickly. The fragility of the fabric requires a very fine, Microtex needle to sew. Regular needles cause thread runs in the print.
I saw this fabric and had to get it. I think it will make a marvelous skirt...or a wrap...or...well, I could make so many things with it. I'm waffling over what I should make. lol. The drape is divine and it is so soft. I'll figure it out eventually.
Very soft drape to it, love the print. Wish it wasn't so translucent but I can always add a lining. Am thinking of turning it into a summer wrap, with any scraps leftover possibly becoming a headband.

It's a thin polyester fabric. Good for blouse. No complains just was not appropriate for my project.

I've made about 10 garments with this fabric. It has a little stretch, and its fairly wrinkle resistant. Obviously I'm happy with it.
