I made a front-tie crop top using this and the Mercerized Organic Egyptian Cotton in shade navy. It was easy to work with and the colors went well together.
I am using the cream version for a Vogue pattern jacket with godets and it is beautiful but with a lot of seams and a revere collar, it is shredding quite a bit. Make sure you leave extra in the seam allowance! I am glad I bought all the LA store left of the cream and will make a skirt to go with the jacket next.
I made a dress with it. It’s quite pretty but I think it would be better as pants. Also, wrinkled easy and needed to use water/steam to get out even quick accidental creases when pressing seams.
I used this fabric for a shirt dress. It seems to have a very tight weave. Used a sharper/finer machine needle. Sewed up easily and the dress turned out great!
This wool was easy to work with and in a nice vibrant teal. I used this with a vintage swing coat (reproduction pattern) together with vintage glass buttons and hand dyed silk charmeuse lining.
Fabric was delivered with a hole that appeared to be in the knit fabric prior to it being fulled/felted so glad I was able to work around it.
Absolutely loved working with this fabric! Hunting through the reviews I read it does not need pre-shrinking. From all the steam pressing I did on this garment, I can verify this is true. It a gorgeous green, not for folks wanting to disappear into the crowd! Am now buying more of it in navy to make a wool jacket for my partner.
Mood’s black faux Persian lamb was soft and pliable, made it easy to sew a new collar for a wool coat, and it looks very real. Of course, it made the usual mess of fibers, but that’s fur.
This fabric is fabulous. It is a great weight, not too thin and not too thick. The fabric frays somewhat when cut, but that is easily remedied with pinking or serging. It is pretty both on the right side and the wrong side, and it makes great bias strips for binding or piping.

Nice buttons, exactly the color and size I needed. They look perfect with the red twill I am making into a trench coat.
