I only give this fabric four stars because it wrinkles really easily (I am not a fan of ironing...) but the top made up beautifully. I used McCall's M8256 and changed the sleeves up.
This fabric is NOT royal blue, but is closer to teal. When I complained to customer service, their first response was to advise me that I should have ordered a swatch. Their second response was to point out that the pantone color was given in the description and provided a weblink to the pantone color ( 647 CP). Interestingly, the weblink provided included the statement "Closest css named color is: Teal". It is still a lovely fabric, and I will find a good use for it, but it is not suitable for the project I had planned for it. So... in the future, if I guess I had always get a swatch, or at least check the pantone color if one is given. Ugh!
This fabric was challenging to work with (20% lycra) - neither of my machines would sew it without skipping stitches (Babylock Espire and Accomplish) until i tried my the Espire on it's slowest setting, so I guess this fabric requires a very slow hook motion. (I had re-threaded and changed needles until I was blue in the face.) My standard 11 titanium needle worked just fine.
I absolutely love this pretty, easy to work with fabric. It is crisp enough for easy sewing, yet light enough to make a comfortable garment. Made a pencil skirt!
Sometimes shopping online can be a bit iffy, but Mood NEVER disappoints, EVER! The stunning green color is even more BEAUTIFUL in person! Oh my goodness! Very easy to work with, lightweight (in my opinion) and opaque enough to skip a lining. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Will be buying in more colors.
Beautiful soft color but this fabric wrinkles so so easily. I made it into a slip skirt and I can't sit down for more than 30 seconds without having a wrinkle the rest of the day. Nice enough fabric for other projects but this is a downside for garments.

Haven't actually made my garment yet, but I already know it is the perfect weight with the perfect opacity and drape!
