I had ordered the white Toulouse cotton and it was amazing. Made handkerchiefs. Thought I'd try the mercerized navy cotton a s it's every bit of high quality softness ever!
This fabric feels luxurious and the print is beautiful and vibrant. FYI the checkers are a bit on the bigger side so be sure to look at the scale measure in the photos (true to scale). Can't wait to create something chic with this fabric!
The look of this fabric is definitely more of a stretch than I was expecting And it'sa but transparent but very pretty and lays great. I just did a double layer on top.
I am very pleased with my purchase of the Baby Pink Mini Squares Jacquard Lining, it looks beautiful, and it sculpts really well. The lining has a very nice hand that is cool to the touch. I have not completed the Jacket yet because I need buttons for the sleeve vents, but I am really pleased with how it all turned out. The 3 pink glass buttons I ordered from Mood are just perfect also, I wish there were more of them but it's ok I will just use 2 buttons to button my double-breasted jacket instead of the 4 I had originally planned. Now I just have to find some similar buttons for the sleeve vent. The pictures below just don't do the jacket justice, but I hope you can tell that how nice it turned out from the photos. The fabric itself is truly lovely, but the description said brown/orange. I thought that the flowers would be brown and obviously the background was orange. However, when it arrived it seems that the flowers are actually black. I don't totally love the black and orange together and Wish I could have returned it.
