The weight of the fabric was extremely tight light and thin. The picture was misleading. I will wait until next year to have something made from this fabric.
Although I've been sewing for most of my life; I had only tried poly taffeta, not silk taffeta. I really loved the way the silk fabric held its shape. The color was gorgeous. I am debating what to make next. Probably a flared jacket to go over the blouse. It was such a pleasure to sew such an elegant, exquisite fabric. Thanks, Mood, for all your very high quality fabrics.
This fabric is super light and super soft! It's also a little see-through, and only stretches in one direction. It doesn't have a ton of stretch, so size accordingly.
