    The color of this velvet is so rich and the fabric so soft. This is my second purchase of this exact fabric. First purchased for a royalty cape for Job's Daughters and now so I could sew a matching doll cape. Wonderful fabric!

    I was STOKED to order this fabric, planning to make a very ruffled, feminine blouse as a counterpoint to the scary theme. I washed and dried it on delicate, and began matching it up and cutting out my blouse only find it has holes in it. Clearly it's going to wash away in a short time, and I am SO disappointed because conceptually this is a fabulous print. I've already started cutting and sewing my project so I will try to deal with the holes as I go but I can't recommend you buy it.

    The fabric has a beautiful lustre, but is less vibrant than it appears online. A tad disappointed when, upon inspection, I discovered a faded streak about 67 inches long, about two inches from one edge. Given the amount of fabric purchased, I can probably avoid this area by repositioning pattern pieces.

    I'm making a Chanel-style jacket, with fringe and all. The fabric is very delicate so I stitched around each pattern piece to prevent unraveling. For the fringe, I doubled the thickness, as it was was not fluffy enough with only one layer. It's coming out beautifully so far.
