Leave it to Mood to have a vast collection of fantastic prints. The fabric is slightly translucent so I lined the bodice with white cotton and rayon jersey.
Wow is this just a decadent, saturated color and I can't wait to fold in half and edge it with a decorative stitch, insert elastic and make a hairband out of it.
Used this to hand stitch some decorative edging and also used in my machine for the same. This thread feels great on the hand and the color was the perfect match for my fabric.

This fabric is well-depicted online texture-wise but looks warmer than it actually is. The sample I received is unmistakably dark ASH brown in tone on the darker side rather than dark GOLDEN brown as I see on my monitor, and I have a pretty expensive monitor. The reverse side is gray-beige ("greige"), and both sides are really beautiful. The problem stems from the warm lighting used in photographing fabrics. In my kitchen where I can flip on either a cool light or a warm light, it looks more ash than golden whichever light I choose. If you have cool coloring and like the texture, you will love this fabric! Even if you have warm coloring, you may like it over solid black, which on some people can look harsh. The fabric is very lightweight, has a very soft hand, and the silk gives it a lustrous finish.
