I purchased this to make a sweater duster and am very pleased with the fabric! Be prepared for a mess though - it does shed quite a bit during the cutting and serging process.
Absolutely stunning! The color was definitely more of a gold tone than I had expected but I ended up liking it so that's something to be aware of. The weight and quality is great though, especially since I've never worked with silk before and now I never want to work with synthetic fibers again since it feels so luxurious.
I'm not done working with it yet but so far so good.
I love the vibrant color and the feel of the fabric. Merino wool can be difficult to find when searching for a particular color. From now on, I'll check with you first.
My favorite fabric in years! Have repurchased it twice! I was at MOOD this past week in NYC and wanted to see it there but they did not have it. Weird! But I bought lots of other stuff. A most incredible store...and the buttons!
Been sewing most of my life (68)
I was wooed by the low price and didn't order a swatch. My bad. My visions of a sweet fluffy smocked summer dress evaporated the instant I touched it. Scratchy and crunchy are the primary descriptors that come to mind. I guess I will be making some sort of window treatments or something.
I'm very interested in this particular button for a vintage overcoat I wear often that I'm ready to rebutton. Unfortunately as I sit here at the bar at a Texas Roadhouse in TN I don't know if they are the size I need. I see some numbers in reference to a metric numerology I assume, but that does me little good being a citizen of the United States of America. It's obviously not much but no sale. Adios...
This fabric was the perfect color, weight, and weave for the jacket I plan to use it for. I'm still in the fitting phase for the garment, but expect this end result to be exactly what I want!
I used this for a Greek chiton for the stage. The pattern is eye-catching and unusual and the drape is light and watery. Very happy with the result! It is slightly sheer, as described

Perfect for trimming the silk tunic and a perfect match for colour.

This muslin is a good heavyweight fabric and much better than flimsy muslin for creating jacket and pants patterns and trial garments.

The paper does what it is intended to do. I appreciate that it has markings so I can keep my lines straight.

Nice modern "ethnic inspired" print

Although brocades are not usually firm, this one was, making it more easier to work with and easier for lining.

I was nervous about ordering this without seeing it in person first, but it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.

I was hoping the stone was more red than pink, but it actually worked for another project. The quality of the button was perfect!!

I really adore this fabric. It looks stunning. It feels soft and has a subtle tinge of sparkly lures intertwined in the threads.
