Just wonderful! My daughter wanted a skirt with a mesh layer, and this worked perfectly. It has a great weight and falls well, it was super easy to work with, and it's soft and comfortable.
I love this trim! It feels wonderful in the hand, has a gorgeous, deep color, and the pleats are crisp and full. This will be perfect on my upcoming project.
I purchased swatches of silk organza. This allowed me to experiment on small bits of a very expensive material before committing to purchase. The experiment was a success. Thank you.
Beautiful fabric but frays easily and would work best with a french seam or a large seam allowance. I ended up having to use a different fabric to line my project since any stress on the seam ended up with having it split.
I used this fabric for an Elbe Textiles Steele Pinafore. It was a little too sheer for my taste (though this was noted in the listing), so I ended up lining the entire piece. It was very easy to work with, and a lovely design!
I used this buckram stiffener fabric in the Cerise corset I made for my granddaughter's wedding party night. The self fabric is white brocade, the lining is white cotton twill, and in between is the buckram. I also used pink tulle to modify her wedding dress and to make her veil.
This fabric seemed to have multiple personalities. It washed and machine dried beautifully, emerging unfaded with a faint wrinkle, like hammered charmeuse. The dark indigo color more closely resembled black than blue. It retained its soft hand and luster, like silk. Cutting revealed it's shifty nature and a bit of a tendency to fray, like a rayon challis. This difficult-to-find fiber assembled easily into a blouse using 60wt polyester thread and an 80 needle. The garment wears well, keeping cool in warm situations. Aside from shirts, this would make lovely loosely fit skirts or pants (I don't think this light weight could withstand much strain at the seams.)

This muslin is great for making toiles. I usually wash it to make it a bit softer.

Beautiful linen with nice weight but soft drape. The color is perfect for 3 season wear from spring to fall in my climate.

This muslin helped me created a toile for a complicated garment. Nice, high quality with a stiff hand - not flimsy or gauzy.
