I've just started to make sports bras and needed high compression Powernet. No fabric store within 25 miles of my home had any. I found just what I wanted online from Mood. Great product, good price, high quality.
Item 423536
very nice fabric... loved the texture and weight. I liked how the Elastane with the cotton added a little bit of stretch to the twill weave.
When I did my stretch material with the stretch thread and after I took it off,I stretched to see what would happen. The fabric stretched right along with the thread. now the thread won't break when the fabric stretches.
I was tasked with restoring a pair of antique pillowcases that had a row of lace between the fabric and another on the edge. I chose this lace because I could use it easily for the enclosed part and I thought it would look nice on the edge. I didn't snap a pic before I returned it to the owner, but it really did work beautifully.
I wish it wasn't a lining/ thin because I would definitely make a bias-cut dress from it. I wish my skin reflected light the way this fabric does. GORGEOUS!
I love this fabric. Bought it in baby blue AND tomato/gold. It is gorgeous ... even though I still don't know which is the right side ... It is very slippery and tricky to cut because of its accordion nature. Decide on the density of "pleats" you want and try to be consistent before construction. I underlined it with a Zimmerman Crepe de Chine and I LOVE THE COMBO!
I wish Mood/ the internet gave more guidance around projects that are best for plisse. I love the fabric but I never know if I'm making the right outfit with it.
I am a fashion design student and I highly recommend this muslin. It has a good hand, nice and thick and holds up well to modifications. Perfect for projects!
I bought this to refurbish vintage Bose speakers to blend with my living room. The fabric is just the right weight for my purpose, not stretchy, and the weave is very square, so that the warp and weft run straight up-and-down and side-to-side and the finished product looks great. There is some sizing on the back of the fabric and I believe that is what helps it to keep its shape. Will do well for upholstery.
This fabric is beautiful. But I must say it's Hard to handle. It slips and slides everywhere. But I can deal with that. I'm using it for the lining of a raincoat that is Teal color on the outside. I can hardly wait to finish it just in time for Spring Rains.

I used this spandex as the outer layer of a sports bra. The quality of the printed pattern was superb. Easy to match on the side seams.

Wonderful for mock ups

The material was more washed out than the picture. It still is ok, but I do think a better picture of the fabric is needed.

While the fabric is very nice and does required a lining as the description stated, it is not white.
