i used 5 yards of this cotton twill to make an Edwardian inspired walking skirt with pockets, and also a summer top! This fabric is so lovely to work with it. It really does press so nicely and is very easy to sew with. I plan on making a pair of pleated business type pants with it next! It had a nice medium-heavy weight which is perfect for the skirt. It made the hem nice and voluminous.
Swatches....I ordered a swatch to see what the texture and weight of this is, for future sewing projects. It is exactly what I thought it would be and look forward to ordering more in the future for knit tops (and hand dyeing)!
I love this rib knit! I make a lot of knit tops and little girl dresses. This is perfect for neckbands and armhole bands. Because it is cotton and white, it also is perfect for hand dyeing, which I do a lot of.
I am impressed with the quality of the fabric. The photo appears pink, but another review said it is beige which is what I wanted. The color is perfect (beige with a bit of a pink touch). Great service!
As I now have to cover my arms due to fragile skin, I have been searching for fabric to make a complementary swing jacket with long sleeves . This fabric matched a blue sleeveless dress I had a already made and I centered the pieces to make the jacket. The blue color on the fabric is blue not the blue-green as pictured. The fabric is lightweight and fantastic to wear in Florida.
