I thought I was ordering red. However, when it came there is so much of a blue- purple hue that I was not able to use it. I wish the photos were more clear or maybe a description would help. It's difficult to be an online customer, I end up hoping for the best and taking what I get.
This vinyl is more aqua than true blue, and is tinted a lot stronger than it looks in photos. It cuts well and sews fine with a standard foot when sandwiched between tissue paper, otherwise it sticks. It's heavier than it seems in the photos and doesn't really crumple the way it is photographed. Luckily I ordered more than enough for my project, so I will probably use the rest of it for a bag.
I bought this to reline two vintage jackets and it is did not disappoint. I used the face side for one jacket and the reverse side for the other!
The luster helps it play with various colors and the pattern keeps some interest for the eye without it overwhelming the shell.
