I purchased this fabric after failing in an exhaustive search for a flattering mother of the bride dress. The upcoming wedding will be in June at a beautiful outdoor venue. This linen blend is lightweight with a bit of stretch and a lot of body to it. Wrinkling is surprisingly minimal and does partially brush very out easily. The color is a gorgeous rich and saturated blue. I believe it will prove to be cool and comfortable in the simple tailored tea length dress I have planned.
Out of all the pattern paper I have purchased this by far is really good quality! Doesn't tear easily like others and it has the Mood Logo which I think is really dope!
Beautiful fabric but significantly heavier/thicker than other similar looks I have purchased. Also since the colored yarns run only in one drection across a much thinner light-colored thread in the other, I'll need to do some tricks to have the finged look I want on all the edges of my jacket. Not a flaw - just something I hadn't really thought about.
Project not started yet. Fabric is listed as DRY CLEAN ONLY. I washed the 1.5 yd sample. It came out very nice and smooth - washed in warm and dried on permanent press. It did shrink at about 9 % length wise and 8% in width. Intended garment is a full length dress and this knit may be too heavy as the 1.5 yd sample weighed 2.7 lbs.
Great service and fast shipping. I was in the middle of a project and I ran out of thread. My local store didn't have it, so I ordered it from mood and had it within a few days.
