A reminder: the pleats are cross grain so calculate your yardage accordingly (it's wide, so that's helpful). A lightweight but fairly opaque fabric. It seems to not need any edge finishing, either!
I was looking for fabric to make a bohemian style dress for summer. I thought that this panel fabric could be very interesting and would have that "boho" look that I was searching for. I found that the fabric was a perfect weight and had great drape which was important for the pattern that I was using. The colors in the fabric are beautiful and it was fun and challenging to decide how I wanted to use the different designs within the fabric panels. Also I found that the fabric was very easy to work with and did not wrinkle...it was a dream to sew and a dream to wear. I liked the fabric so much that I purchased the same fabric type in a different pattern and coloration to make another dress for fall. I love the Mood Exclusive fabrics that you sell!!
This fabric is gorgeous and I'm so pleased with the pleated skirt that I made from it. I did have issues with this fabric though because I received it with many creases in it that I could not iron or steam out. So a large portion of the fabric was unusable. I contacted support and they think I was sent the end of the bolt and I received a partial refund. I still think it's a bit iffy buying this fabric because if the pleats aren't rolled very carefully on the bolt, there will be creases.
I ordered three yards for a summer dress. I wish I could order four , for more gathering on the skirt part. I've got many compliments. Myself I love those colors and pattern. It's a super fabric for hot humid weather. Washes well. No need for ironing ( except during the sewing process). Bottom down area needs lining because it's see through a bit. I made myself rayon challis underskirts : black, nude and white. I'm using them for all my see through clothes.
I loved the quality of this fabric. The print/color is true to the photos. I used the fabric for a beach hat, I would definitely purchase again for swim trunks.

Very nice and exactly what I was looking for. Wishing you had tutorials for sewing on & hemming silk chiffon as it is not an easy fabric to work with.

Lucidum Black Bemberg Lining is well know to be a great industry standard, you can't go wrong.

When tailoring a coat, adding shoulder pads for structure gives the garment a beautiful finished shape.

I actually changed my mind, the buttons were interesting with the texture. The texture looked like a woven fabric if enlarged.

Love this fabric and it will work great for a skirt. Colors are just as pretty as in the photo. Doesn't have much weft-wise give.
