I made a waist-length peacoat-style summer cardigan out of the white Elida White Cotton French Terry. Applied French seams to the body & sleeves and left the edges raw (but added edge stitching to keep things under control). Worked up so well and absolutely love the jacket! Perfect weight for summer. I want to make another now in a longer length.
This lightweight fabric has a silky feel and a bit of a sheen. I made a ruffled, flirty cocktail dress for a destination wedding for under $40. It was very easy to work with. No lining was necessary for what I made. Really pretty.
I only ordered a swatch to decide if I wanted to purchase the fabric. Well, the fabric is gorgeous! I will be ordering more in the near future as soon as I decide on the project!

Heavier than I thought… a bit difficult to work with. Fabric softener & a few washes helped a lot.
