Nice fabric, good weight for trousers or tailoring, not super thick. Do note that the fabric is somewhat loosely woven and may benefit from being reinforced with some sort of tape in high-stress areas, especially on pants.
The print of the fabric is very graphic and true to how it appears on screen. But this polyester satin was difficult to deal with and made and me wish the print came on different fabrications. Even with a fresh microtex needle, rotary cutter, and a lot of fabric clips, I still got pulls and fabric shifts.
Love this fabric especially for summer temperatures. I made a petticoat out of it and it's cool, breathable, and comfortable in the Gulf Coast humidity, heat.
I bought some of this fabric a few years ago, thinking it perfect for a late summer / early fall dress. When I pulled it out, I realized I did not have enough. Thankfully, Mood still carried it. The new order was just as good as the earlier one, with colors perfectly matched and then same silky feel.
I love this denim! I got it to make an embroidered vest and it is going pretty well so far. I washed like I do my clothing, and it came out a bit lighter, so be aware of that.
I used this to create my own version of the Kalimeris Moto. This fabric sews up beautifully for light outerwear or bottoms. Heavy enough to hold its shape but relaxed enough to be comfortable.
