Life in 2026 is busy! Between work, family, and the mental load, your sewing machine might be gathering a little dust. You miss the hum of the motor and that specific feeling of wearing something you made with your own hands. It’s time to take that moment back.

Whether you are a beginner or a pro raiding your silk stash, this is about coming together in a community of friends to make something beautiful.

Precision

🧵 THREADS & TOOLS

Don’t let a snapped thread ruin your flow. For silk, use silk thread or fine weight cotton (50wt). It glides through delicate fibers. For knits, grab polyester for its “give.” For the rest, standard all-purpose polyester is your workhorse.

The Kit: You’ll need sharp scissors or a rotary cutter, clips or pins, the right sewing needles for your fabric, and a trusty iron.
