A beautiful fabric with a very tight weave, a slight sheen, smooth hand, and just enough weight and drape for casual draw-string wide-legged pants with no side seams.
lightweight but a weight heavy enough for drawstring wide-legged pants with no side seams; smooth texture and a weave tight enough to maintain its shape. Minimal fraying when washed.
If you're expecting something like a sweatshirt fleece, this is not that. It's much thinner and more drapey and very soft. And it isn't really only fleece on one side. It technically is, I guess, but it's a very light, barely fleeced surface and the right side is also brushed, so it's almost hard to tell the right and wrong side apart. Like a thicker, more structured double brushed poly.
I purchased several samples to help me decide on color choice. Great service and in fact I have recommendes Mood to several of my doll club friends that do sewing.
I was planning to make a pair of short pants from this fabric, but It feels a bit too noisy to me. The leg parts of the pant definitely will make some sound while walking. This fabric would be more appropriate for outerwear, maybe for a thin bomber or wind jacket. Bomber is what I'm going to do with it most likely.
Color is not what I expected as well, not as warm and not really brown. More of a cooler shade of Merlot or cherry.
The feel and drape of the fabric is perfect. The print is lovely. However, the images online are not indicative of the print. There is a swath of the beautiful print that fades into a minimal floral print and then a straight across line of flowers that "restarts" the burst of flowers repeat. I bought this for a skirt, and I'm finding that the solid line of flowers quite annoying because it will be wrapping around my body in a horizontal line, which is not at all the look I was going for when I selected a watercolor floral print. I wish it had been included in the photos.
Nice feel, crisp yet not stiff, good subtle stretch, easy to work with, great price! Would be great for jackets or pants. I enjoyed working with this fabric. Chemical scent took a couple washes to remove but otherwise no complaints
Love this! I carry a measuring tape around for a lot of reasons and I hate having them tangled in my bag. This really solves the problem!! It's compact and gets the job done.

Absolutely lovely in person. Has a lot of structure, which I like for my boxy patterns. I will line the blouse I cut for comfort.

This muslin was perfect for drafting my own coat for the first time. It's a great price and easy to work with.
