I am still working on my project, a long duster vest. The border print is perfect! The soft flowing hand is outstanding. The navy background with the vibrant feathers! I couldn't love this fabric more!
I do not have a lot of experience crafting with truly good fabrics, so maybe I'm just speaking from relative inexperience, but even after working with this, I'm still drooling over it. The inner black layer is so incredibly soft, and the outer layer surprised me with how soft it is, as well. It has a truly beautiful drape, although it should be known that it is certainly a thicker fabric. Also be aware that cut edges tend to fray quite a bit, but such is the nature of something like this. Strong, durable, well-made material, worth every penny as far as I'm concerned.
Used them to trim a Xmas stocking made from a hunting shirt....belonging to a Grandfather to his Grandson.
I was able to use the collar as the band at the top
This lining gave the added structure that I needed in the garment. It also gave depth to the overall color of the garment. It was really a life-saver. Well....a garment-saver:)
For the HOURS I spend in virtual Board and committee meetings, this professional-looking, but super comfortable, oversized blazer is a perfect new jacket. It will be great with skinny jeans, leggings, or slacks once meetings are in-person again -- and effortless for travel, too. We lost our only dry cleaners in the county, so the fact that it can be washed is a bonus. Since it is unlined, I made a contrast seam binding for whimsy.

I compared it silk taffeta, and it is identical in feel, sheen, and drape. And you can wash this, and it's so much cheaper!

The fabric is finer in texture and print quality than I had expected. I am ridiculously happy that I purchased extra yardage.
