Used for a slightly-shorter-than-midlength skirt. This is a softer horsehair so it gives some shape to the hem without being so dramatic it looks like a costume. It's smooth so it's not annoying on the wearer and it held up well, with no stray, stabby bits,.
First of all, it's dinosaurs, so you can't go wrong there. If you're planning to make anything lighter like a summer dress, just know this is a pretty heavy fabric. I made a top and some pants with it, and it'll be worn mostly in fall as I can see myself sweating to death in it if I wear it during the summer. It's got nice stretch to it as well. Doesn't need ironing - though trying to finish seams with an iron was hard as it didn't like any settings I tried to use.
Fabric is beautiful, although less vibrant than the swatch I received, and more washed out when I prewashed the fabric. Perfect for the coveralls I'm making!
When I sew I want to make something which is unique. I can buy RTW if I want to wear what everyone else in town is wearing. THIS fabric will make an awesome boxy unlined jacket.... and this old lady will rock it!!
Be very careful if you order this. The blue thread in the fabric is drastically darker than that of the swatch that I ordered, and customer service was willfully obtuse about it.

Stunning fabric, beautiful quality, however the metallic color is light gold instead of silver (which I lpersonally like even better!).

Vibrant color, impeccably soft. Great for use as a man's button-down. I bought it in black too.

I loved it for the uniqueness! I chose a boxy top without details in the pattern because I wanted to showcase the printed faces.
