I don't think animal prints are going away anytime soon. I chose this print to make a camp shirt, which can also be left open with a tank top. I like the vivid colors, a little different than the Hawaiian prints. - Like the tigers!
This is a lovely true Kelly green silk taffeta. It has a light crisp hand. Perfect for historical sewing and modern garments also. Really nice quality.
I loved this fabric and made a jump suit out of it. The fabric washed up well and was very easy to work with. It is medium weight, but has a lot of fluidity.
This is a gorgeous material. Cutting and sewing this was very smooth.I liked it because you can use both sides. The back of it is a very nice beige which is good on it's own for any classic garment. This makes good sportwear pieces.
If this is 100% merino, why did I just pull a thread out that I can stretch to five times it's length? I keep trying to find white 100% wool gabardine and getting swimsuit material
Client came with a vision of a floor length overjacket to go with her mother of the bride dress. Convinced her to go with a chiffon vs a goldy, gauzy lame type fabric. While I hate to shop by mail the sample service came through with one that was just right. I incorporated some of the dress fabric as a sleeve cuff to tie in with dress. She was very pleased and so was I. Thanks for the prompt turnaround with samples and fabric cut.
Downloaded the free pattern from Mood for the Queen's Gambit Pinafore Dress and Shirt. I used a Parisian Tropical Wool suiting with spandex for the pinafore - in a nice deep blue. I made the shirt in this fabric and loved working with it. It has enough body and a little stretch to make the fitted shirt easy to sew and look nice even though I am - at best - an intermediate sewer. Pairs really well with the pinafore dress but is something I could wear with a pencil skirt or fitted dark blue denim jeans.
This material was perfect for the loud Dad-esque beach shirt I was creating.
The amount of joy packed into each square inch is really cost efficient.
Good drape, very soft, little-no stretch, and easy to manipulate.

Needed this velvet to match an existing garment to do a repair. I bought several sample swatches. This one was a perfect match in color and quality!

This fabric is beautiful and rich looking. It has a slight sheen and is medium in weight. It also stretches and washed up well.

Absolutely gorgeous color and print. As usual, even nicer in person than online.
