I fell in love with this fabric design and purchased it on a whim without a project in mind. I ended up doing some hand embroidery on the fabric and then used it for the yoke of a Bondi top (a Sew to Grow pattern). I paired this with a lovely deep turquoise medium weight linen and it is FABULOUS. This fabric has a very dense weave which made it easy to handle.
I used this fabric to replace Wil Scarlet tights. Tights are expensive and don't hold up. This stretch linen saves us so much time and money in wardrobe. We've also used it for Little John and soon will add our Robin Hood!
I made a 3 button shirt with matching high ankle pants for a fashion show I attended. I was approached and asked about the outfit all night. Everybody wanted to touch it because of the look of the fabric. It looks like it's kind of heavy but it's lighter than it seems. The black spots are almost like a suede.

While the fabric was lovely, it was not what I was expecting. For cotton voile it was stiffer and heavier than other voiles I have purchases online.
