This beautiful fabric washed nicely and was easy to sew a summer jacket.
I used McCall's 8179 View A to make the jacket.
I made the buttonholes wth a lovely thead and Made in USA antique button which matched the lillies in the fabric.
The watermelons and bananas add interest and fun to this summer project.

This cotton voile is a lovely fabric with wonderful drape and a soft hand. It wahed beautifully. I used weights to hold the pattern on to the fabric when cutting.
Simplicity 9334 View A is the pattern I used to make the blouse. It goes perfectly with my jeans and royal/navy/blue slacks.
I knew this fabric was going to be a challenge to work with but I took this luxurious fabric and ran with it. I used interfacing fabric to give it structure and shape.

I needed silk to line a jacket. This silk charmeuse turned out to be perfect. The weight is good. The sheen just right.

This was exactly how it described in the pictures. It is white very light lace. I will use it as layer on top of a cotton shirting fabric.

I had broken all my needles and needed replacements. These are perfect for my machine. I have a Brother and they work great!

Was perfect for my layered 50's inspired dress. It could be a little softer, but great for the price.
