As mentioned, the fabric does not have much stretch. I created a jersey and soccer shorts with the fabric and it all came out perfectly. The minimal stretch worked out in my favor!
As others have stated, the wool is as described, and made a nice heavyweight sweater cardigan/jacket. It sews very easily with Gutermann Sew-All thread and a Schmetz Universal size 70 needle.
The only reason I am giving it four stars rather than five is because this particular color is not quite like the green shown in the photos (the other colors of this fabric that I've seen in person are exactly like the photos, though). The Forest photos show a unique muted/desaturated green, with a hint of blue; which is exactly what I was looking for. However, the actual fabric I received is much more green, like a hunter green. Lesson learned -- definitely buy a swatch if you need a very specific color, or else you could end up making a costly mistake like I did.
Very wonderful natural fiber boucle which, aside from the texture inherit in the style, I find it will be nice against the skin. Don't even notice any roughness from the metallic which was my once concern when I choose it.
