This brocade drapes beautifully and presses easily.
I live close to the NYC location and shop there often, but no matter if I visit the store or use the website, the experience is always fabulous!
Great hand, and wonderful color, but unfortunately there were a handful of
dye drips that were smack dab in the middle of my cut! Made do by making these stains in places that were harder to see on the dress.
Overall, beautiful.
It worked great for the project I used it for. The material is very thick (likely due to the reflective coating) but the stretch is eh, questionable. If you stretch it too much you risk making little tears in the reflective part, but it does have some give. Naturally, it reflects white when using flash and it's super bright.
BEWARE. This fabric can do a number on sewing machines and/or needles. Be prepared for often needle changes with this one.
This is beautiful fabric with a nice hand. The color was just as described. Perfect for the project I have in mind. Love that I often find just what I am looking for at Mood.
This is the definition of a fine linen. The perfect weight for a blouse or shirt. The weave is very smooth and even. I used this as a trim for a kimono style robe I created with another Mood linen. Washes beautifully. I press my linens when wet, and then air dry.
This fabric is BEAUTIFUL. It's so vibrant and joyful. The print is enormous, which I love, and the fabric itself is lovely to work with. It's a very stable, closely woven cotton; it's opaque and disinclined to fray, which is delightful. It's also very lightweight and crisp, and I used it to make the Filomena Dress from Wearing History. It would make an excellent dress shirt, too. My only complaint is my own fault: the print is so large scale that I didn't realize it's basically stripes. This probably wouldn't matter for a lot of projects, but it's visible on the bias cut skirt of my dress and I wish I'd noticed earlier so I could have planned better.
Requested emerald green organza but the color, upon receiving, was more of a "jade". (Refer to photo attached-top fabric was emerald green satin) Had to come up with a plan B for the project and since not returnable, it was added to the fabric stash

The material was ordered over a year ago and finally had time. The colors are bold and fantastic I decided to do a Jean jacket style.

I added pen windowpane to my cut out shirt pieces...then stitched them in. I loved the shirt and it turned out swell.
