The fabric was great for the men's pants pattern that I purchased it for. It was quite stiff out of the box, but softened considerably after washing and drying. It frays a lot, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Every seam must be finished, and as the fabric is quite thick, there are few options for finishing. I turned under each seam allowance and zig-zag stitched it to itself.
