I ordered different types of fabric swatches to decide what would work for future sewing projects. They also showed how big or small repeated patterns were.
Really nice fabric - easy to work with, washes nicely, doesn't wrinkle. I used this fabric to make a nice dress for work events. I'm an event manager so I need to look out together but also need a functional look. I used the Deer & Doe Sirocco pattern for the bodice and the Lansdown Pattern for the skirt (with huge pockets!).
This is a great alternative to silk taffeta for sewers on a budget. I made a Regency gown for a recent ball with the coral almond color and couldn't have been happier
I used these for a 1940s style blouse. About .25 inches thick, perfect thickness for this purpose. Soft and well made, attached easily. Machine washed two times so far with no issues.
The product description really says it all on this one - it's a nice, light cotton with a crisp drape in a pretty shade of mint green. Absolutely lovely to work with!
I bought a sizable amount, and unfortunately the fabric shriveled up as if it was made of elastic or composed of spandex. I didn't see any messaging about the material needing special care. It was such a shame as the material is gorgeous, so something to consider if buying.
I am happy with how the veil came out for my daughter. I used the rotary cutter to cut off the selvages and round the bottom, then hand-gathered and hand-sewed it onto a comb. The color matches her ivory dress very well.

Used the fabric to make my sister a fit and flare dress. After washing I found a hole in the fabric. Didn't have enough fabric so had to improvise.

Love this fabric! It is a beautiful, rich, saturated color and it drapes exactly as it should.

Everything was fine except I thought the fabric would be a bit heavier like a lightweight denim. I'll find a use for it though.
