This fabric is so beautiful. I love the color, and it has such a lovely hand. Drapey and soft, but with the body I'll need to make a jacket out of it. Unfortunately we are now having a heat wave (Portland, OR) that makes a cozy jacket look pretty uncomfortable just now. Lol. But I will so enjoy making it up. I see myself buying more for fall, if it's still around!

I'm a picture framer and needed an oversized magenta fabric to put behind a hand beaded, silk Hermes scarf we were framing. The color match was great, the fabric was smooth and heavy enough and thankfully the bolt size was perfect for a 57x58 sized piece. My customer was thrilled.
This picture does not represent this fabric very well. The actual fabric is very layered and softly textured. You can barely see the vibrant red stripe running through it.
The fabric is beautiful, with a nice drape and the slightest sheen. My only disappointment is that after pre-washing the fabric on cold the red from the birds bled a bit. Oddly only the red bled and not every bird. I am still using it for my project but I did have to change the plan to avoid the worst of the bled.
This mesh was lovely to work with and just perfect as a sheer overlay on my daughter's prom dress. It is soft enough as not to be uncomfortable against the skin, with a drape that is the perfect blend of pliability with body. It did not have stretch, which I ended up not needing.

The face coloring was grayish. I bought this in LA at Mood and face color was more brownish.
