This is the most lovely fabric, so soft and malleable. The skirt was the same fabric content but in Icelandic blue, with a Premium Wide Chiffon overlay in gray dawn.
One thing I should have lined the bodice with a stronger-strength fabric to stand it up better. I recommend it for skirts or anything with a lot of flowing movement, but perhaps not for a bodice.
However, it was so comfortable that I could've worn it for any length of time! This silk doesn't run too badly proving the weave is strong. As with most good silk, you don't want to have to rip out as you will leave needle holes. A super fine quilter's pin easily does the job when pinning.
It's important to note the customer service of Mood...I had a disaster on my hands with my pattern (have no idea how I got my formulas so terribly wrong which has never happened to me before, ugh) and I had to abandon that process altogether. Mood took EXCELLENT care to make sure I received my very anxiety-filled order to help me turn out the dress in time for our wedding. Simply terrific!
This is a good, medium weight (but a bit on the heavier side) cotton poplin. I made a maxi, sleeveless A line dress with a deep pleats in front and back. The result was an elegant dress. It is on the stiffer side that conveys authority. Don't use super hot iron.
Excellent fabric, gets a little see-through when it's stretched, so might need a lining in some scenarios. I made an oversized sweater and had no issues. Very soft, and the stripes are subtle
Beautiful quality and shipped quickly! Some frogs vary in length. Overall, wonderful and worked perfectly with my couture wedding gown design. Thanks Mood!
Making a dupe of a jacket my me made action figure wears. This fabric is an excellent dupe for the fabric used for the doll clothing. Mine will be more cyberpunk looking. And the stretch will help (it's will be a long anorak styled jacket with a lining).
I ordered the black and I will confirm that it has a black backing. (Some other colors have a white backing). It's thin and lightweight but not so thin you think it wont work. This will make excellent clothing from bodycon tops/dresses to tight pants to loose fitting or even tight tailored jackets. It has a wonderful drape. Cant wait for the pattern to show up so i can start making my cyberpunk anorak rain jacket.

I'm partial to all linen knits so this was a nice find. I made into lightweight tops.

it's a beautiful fabric, it's just very thin and very see through so I had to layer it with another fabric

The fabric is beautiful. I'm making a pleated skirt that can be dressed up or down.
