I purchased this fabric to make a jumpsuit for a member of a wedding party. It was perfect! There was just enough weight to the fabric and the satin was subtle yet effective. The customer was pleased...that's what really counts!
Very pretty buttons. I like mother-of-pearl or shell buttons; they are natural and go with every outfit. Some break easily but I haven't broken any of these yet.
Just used today. Very crisp. Wrinkles easily. Working on perfecting princess seams and fit, so easily shows where improvement is needed. I did iron before use. It's always. Good idea to make a toile.
I was so thrilled with the green that I bought that I decided to buy this ready for my next project. I don't know what it is going to be, but the draping and the appearance of it is so much like silk it will most likely go into an evening gown of sorts most likely from latter half of the 19th century.
