I bought this for a dress pattern I had and am very happy with it so far. I love the shine of the fabric and the scattered floral pattern...so buy extra if you want to match. things up.

i ordered the incorrect size of buttons and Mood was very helpful on the phone to help me reorder. The return was easy and I'm happy to say I have the right buttons (thanks to Mood) today.

Gorgeous color, gorgeous flowy hand, so staticky after being prewashed I'm going to lose my mind.

Perfect for hot climate as a lightweight pair of pants or a top. Fabric has a cool feel to it, drapes well, and slightly shimmers in bright light. Video says to dry clean. I took my chances and washed it. Looks fine.

Made wide leg pants with inverted pleat at waist. Great weight, drape and very easy to sew. I would buy again in other colors.

I first purchased a swatch, cut and sewed the swatch, and my needle became sticky. I forgot to remove the sticker, so I assumed that was why, and went ahead and ordered some. Once I began to sew, my needle became sticky again. I emailed Mood and they told me how to sew it. Use a Microtext needle and press it with an iron (which you can do, just not too much heat because the little foils will come off). I had already looked on YouTube and found a video by Professor Pincushion. She suggested using embroidery needles, sewers aid oil, and wax paper. You definitely need all three! Can you use a Microtext? I would say yes, just also use the oil and wax paper. They really help slow down the needle becoming sticky, but the stickiness will still happen. So, I had to wipe the needle with rubbing alcohol to remove the adhesive. I even replaced a few needles because I was on a time crunch. My thread split and bulked up at the top of the needle, many times. My bobbin also broke once. Despite the plethora of pain sewing this (LOL) it was well worth it! I received non-stop compliments and turned heads all night! This fabric is everything! I scored it a four due to the difficulty of sewing.

This fabric was a perfect match to my mothers vintage gown I made over for my sisters wedding gown. It was wonderful to work with. The quality was amazing. Thank you for the swatch system that allowed me to find the perfect match.

This is such a great fabric for children's jackets! I made this bonnet/jacket ensemble for my Etsy shop, Bespoke Needlework. No lining required because the fabric is soft enough with the 50/50 blend. This sunflower color is also just great. With the red trim, blue buttons, and hedgehog and mushroom embroidery, it struck the woodland vibe. I did the hand embroidery with 100% cotton perle cotton and it worked out great even though my stitches were pretty dense. I didn't have to use any sort of backing on it to prevent distortion of the fabric. I did line the bonnet for two reasons: 1) The contrasting fabric made it really cute; and 2) I was hoping that it would give some protection to the wool from whatever oil might transfer from the baby's scalp. But, since the ensemble is only size 6 months, it probably won't see enough wear to get to that point anyway. Of course, the one drawback is that the fabric is dry clean/hand wash only. Not super-practical for children's clothing. However, there are plenty of wool sweaters on the market so I decided there has to be some segment of the market that it appeals to.
