The sequin fabric is stunning and sews easily on a sewing machine. It features a tulle edging on both sides, approximately 2 inches wide, which is perfect for luxurious seam finishing.
The pink color is very sweet. The fleece side is wonderfully soft. But...I used it to make a sweatshirt with the fleecy side on the inside. The outer surface of the sleeves immediately began to pill badly, on the underside where they rub against things. I'm guessing the fleece is meant to be the outer surface of the garment. But that still wouldn't explain such significant pilling. Something to be aware of if you purchase this fabric. Otherwise is was easy to work with and sewed up quite nicely.
Best. Gift. Ever! I received this as a present for Christmas and although it took a little time to get here I use it every day. I never have to buy another planer again.
I have always been happy with anything I have bought from Mood. The purple velvet did not disappoint. Purple velvet jacket, silk charmeuse lining, #Mccalls M7513, Thom Browne buttons.
I have been looking for the material you have, and I just love yours. I have been sewing lots of blouses ,I just love your material. Thank you. I will send pictures soon.
Was hoping for 50s style taffeta. This is very thin, crinkley, and has an almost plastic look. It did however give me the crispness / stiffness I was looking for to use in 50s style doll clothes - as an underlayer only. Don't think it would work for an actual adult dress. High wrinkle factor, but the wrinkles pull out. Honestly, this is the weirdest fabric ever.
I made a long duster coat with this, and it turned out beautifully. I did line it since as I walk the back side of the fabric shows. Every time I wear it, I receive compliments. It's different and fun!

I love this beautiful fabric! Silk satin is just so rich and smooth and hefty. I had someone make this dress for me to wear to my daughter's wedding.

The fabric is lovely and durable. It is a also a match to a fabric on an Arhaus piece that is being used for this project ... so perfect

I got this to go with a rust colored pair of riding pants. Perfect. Easy to sew with and has all the benefits of moisture wicking etc.
