This makes a great table cloth when you're doing messy things like decorating cookies or icing a cake.
I put the plastic over my regular table cloth. Looks great snd clean up us easy.
This fabric is stunning. It has a fabulous texture (slubbed) and a beautiful drape. Perfect for spring or summer wear. This is my 2nd purchase of this fabric. The first 4 yds were ruined in the wash. I repeat, DO NOT WASH this fabric.. Dry clean only, take my word for it.
Okay so i bought the mystery kit excited to see what i would get and i got this fabric! i got so excited seeing it was pastel pink! Im brewing right now on what to make with it.. Its 5 yards of it so i will have to think wisely.
This is high quality muslin - heavier than quilting cotton, but still maintains a bit of drape. Good structural integrity, the weave is tight and the grain is straight.
I was skeptical about this boiled wool since it is not 100% wool and has a significant amount of synthetic material (60% viscose). But it feels great and my rub test suggests that it wont pill. I ordered the whisper white and decided to hand wash it before use since I don't intend to have it dry cleaned. It washed and air dried (laid flat) beautifully. However, it shrunk along the selvedge length by about 12%. So order extra if you intend to wash your garment. I've rated it a 4 mainly because I haven't sewn with it yet so can't comment fully.
