I recently purchased these Italian shank buttons after doing extensive research trying to find replacement buttons in this exact size. They weren't the same as the original buttons, but were 100x's better quality that were on the silk shirt that the dry cleaners destroyed! Service was great and I appreciated the fast shipping.

The button size chart is particularly helpful. (Other charts might be as well, if you do another printing, Mood).
I'm more of a patternmaker and maker than a designer. This format provides room for it all. Space for the big picture point of view AND the minutia on how to get there.
This closure is pretty and works well with an open garment I wanted to add a closure to, but it's a little rough in texture because of the sparkly weave, so I'm worried it won't hold up well to a lot of handling. Will see how it goes!
The fabric was just as pictured. I turned it sideways because I was making a pleated skirt and it worked better that was. Got many compliments. :blush:

Great fabric. Fuse Perfect Fuse light to wrong side to stabilize it. Looks elegant when sewn.

The book warned me to not pull out seams and it will water spot.I did not have the sew in interfacing,so I just used a towel to set it in.
