Very loose weave necessitates overlocking each piece with a serger and a lining.
It is beautiful, even if the fit didn't get perfectly correct.
Very versatile :ok_hand:
This fabric is worth every penny. Made in spain, this cotton is so silky soft and feather light. I made a modified Willa dress by rosie Caldwell and it turned out stunning! Shirring the fabric required a shorter stitch length than usual, but resulted in absolutely beautiful drape. I want this fabric in the black colorway next!
My sewing has improved so much since I started making muslins/toiles. And this was such a good deal from Mood! It’s so easy to use and smells/feels so nice that I end up using this practice garment as lining or sometimes for lounging around the house.
Loved the color. It is crisp and easy to sew. I machine washed it to soften it, and used rotary cutter to cut. The description in the website was good but the photo of the dress in the website was most helpful in deciding to buy this fabric.
Gorgeous fabric for a minidress, medium weight with a little give. The staff at Mood was so incredibly helpful shipping it overnight so we could get it in time.
I planned on making a First Communion dress for my granddaughter from my 1981 wedding dress but I needed more chiffon. White is not necessarily “white” and I was struggling to find the right shade. Thankfully, Mood Fabrics came through. Samples were sent quickly and I was able to get a lovely chiffon in just the right white at a great price. Excellent selection and service!

This is a lovely, light linen. If using this fabric for a dress or skirt, adding a lining would be a safe bet for keeping it professional.

Shiny and sparkly. These buttons are heavy, so they work better with heavy fabric.

I got this swatch and fell in love with this fabric. I'm very new to sewing so once I improve my skills, I'll make a top or maybe a luxurious pajama
