I ended up not needing this for my project but I quite like it. It would hold pleats really well and the fabric has an interesting texture.

The fabric is luxurious and beautiful. Rich color, soft to touch. Super easy to work with. I washed the fabric on a delicate cycle in my wash machine in warm water as that is how I would like to clean it in the future. Washed beautifully with approx. 14% shrinkage. Color as bright after wash as prior to wash. One side of the fabric was "fuzzier" after the wash, but that was my intention. I line dried the washed fabric. (I tested with swatches before I treated the fabric). Treating prior to construction with steam or dry cleaning left the material identical to how it arrived from Mood Fabrics. I plan on making a short coat next year with this type of fabric and will send it to the dry cleaners for pre-treatment so the material will remain smooth on both sides.

I very much liked the design. The fabric is not so sheer that it requires something under it for modesty. Would have liked it to be just a bit softer. But it did work up beautifully and washes just as well.

I did not wash before sewing. Fabric dye did come off on my hands as I produced my dress. I used silk thread; stretch needles (130/705 H-S 75/11), which worked beautifully. I used black flexi lace hem tape with application to fabric on inside of fabric edge in lieu of on top in order to get smooth finish in right side wiithout top edge of fabric show. I hand stitched with blind stretch stitch. I hand washed inside out without softener and two rinse cycles. I steamed hem and pressed sections with my clean wood ruler after doing so in order to get a clean hemline. I steamed on my board with double layer of extra Velvet fabric underneath and steaming inside of hem. This left not a single mark. Afterward, I put the dress on my maniqquin and steamed every part of the dress on Right side. It became all lustrious like brand new again!

Great pattern paper for tracing and pattering. Accurate measurements and sturdiness

The fabric is better live than it is on a picture. The color blue is gorgeous. Planning to make long sleve turtleneck. Feel very excited about this project

So luxurious! I actually ordered this to serve as a lining to a blue suede blazer, but I might have to order more and use it in a more central role for another project. Very smooth, high quality and it has deep, saturated colors. Highly recommend.

Made pewter tulle bridesmaids skirts for my daughter's wedding. Accented with this gorgeous Double Face French Satin Ribbon at the waist with lush bows tied in the back, they looked beautiful. This ribbon is gorgeous!

I made an adorable summer skirt out of this. It's pretty much completely opaque, so I didn't use a lining.

Made this quilted purse. Drew the images with pencil, then fabric markers. Makes a high key image with no bleeding.
