Be prepared with strips of parchment paper to stabilize the seams as you sew. Also next time i will cut it out over a tablecloth or something. This fabric is colorful. It reminds me confetti. It is more of a cream background than white and I actually prefer that. I made a dress with cotton lining.
These buttons were perfect for a crimson wool ankle length coat I recently made. The coat had a black velvet collar and cuffs and princess lines and these buttons were the perfect finishing touch.
The fabric was purchased to make skirts that were attached to a purchased leotard. The quality of the fabric was/is excellent and the skirts turned out beautifully.
